UNL and Studio Galilei Sign MOU to Jointly Develop Next-Generation Smart Mobility Infrastructure

Singapore, Seoul, November 19, 2025 – UNL Global, a Singapore-based micro-location technology company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Studio Galilei, a demand-responsive mobility platform startup. Together, the two companies aim to jointly develop a new layer of smart mobility infrastructure – enabling intelligent urban and rural on-demand transport solutions for mobility, ride-hailing, last-mile logistics and tourism companies across Southeast Asia.

The collaboration will see UNL and Studio Galilei integrate hyperlocal, pixel-based 3D mapping and location technology suite, AI-driven real-time dispatch and route optimization Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) system to improve efficiency in responding to dynamic service demand, optimize fleet operations, enhance urban and rural transport network connectivity and accessibility.

UNL pioneers real-world game engine solutions, creating digital twins of places to solve major challenges for on-demand businesses in emerging markets. These include unreliable addressing, lack of last-mile data, dependencies on traditional road networks and difficulties in routing beyond street-to-street level, such as indoor spaces, venues and elevation. UNL’s innovative technology has earned international recognition — attracting investment from global mapping company HERE Technologies and establishing a strategic partnership with GrabMaps for bringing joint solutions to Southeast Asian businesses.

Studio Galilei operates “Varo DRT,” a demand-responsive transit service built on its proprietary AI-based Transit Analysis and Mobility Optimization System platform (TAMOS). The company has successfully deployed DRT services across 24 cities, and earlier this year completed a pilot of “RIKAride,” a global tourism-focused DRT service in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Studio Galilei is preparing to extend RIKAride to other major tourist destinations in Southeast Asia through partnerships with local OTA (Online Travel Agency) platforms.

Hyunmyung Kim, CEO of Studio Galilei, said: “Through our collaboration with UNL Global, we aim to combine Studio Galilei’s real-time DRT technology with hyperlocal map data to pioneer the world’s first 3D mobility operation technology at a hyperlocal scale. The synergy between our technologies will enable a more sophisticated operational framework than any existing mobility platform, paving the way toward future applications in Urban Air Mobility (UAM) and autonomous driving.”

Xander van der Heijden, CEO of UNL Global, added: “We are excited to be joining forces with Studio Galilei. This collaboration brings together UNL’s digital twin technology and Studio Galilei’s AI-powered TAMOS platform to unlock a new level of precision and responsiveness in urban and rural transport. By merging our pixel-based mapping and location sute with intelligent dispatch, we can help cities and operators respond dynamically to mobility demand – creating more connected, efficient, and sustainable transport networks, accelerating the realization of truly smart cities.”

The companies are planning to roll out the first joint tools in 2026, with pilot programs in major Southeast Asian cities, including Singapore, with plans to expand next to Europe and other global markets.

About Studio Galilei: Studio Galilei develops Physical AI solutions that connect digital intelligence with real-world transport operations. Its proprietary Transit Analysis and Mobility Optimization System (TAMOS) powers AI-based Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) and smart mobility services across 18 cities globally, enabling real-time dispatch, routing, and operational optimization. By bridging technology and physical impact, Studio Galilei enhances efficiency, inclusivity, and sustainability in urban and rural mobility systems.
